Fullmetal Alchemist is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Arakawa Hiromu. It was serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Shōnen Gangan magazine between July 2001 and June 2010, and was later adapted into a 51 episode teleivsion anime series, which was also written and illustrated by Arakawa.
